I'm Shameer, a backend and platform engineer.

Most of my work is on backend services, distributed systems, and the internal tools other engineers use every day. I mostly write Go and Python, with some TypeScript and Rust.

A lot of it comes down to developer productivity: building the platforms and tools that help engineering teams move faster and make better use of their time.

I write here about platform engineering, developer productivity, LLM agents, distributed systems, and note-taking.
